The report suggests that to help celebrate Pokemon GO Fest this weekend, players will have another chance to hunt down Lugia and maybe even collect a shiny version. Considering how useless Regice is in the current metagame, this is likely exciting news for a lot of players.

The reappearance of Lugia does feel a bit random, but most of the community seems to be over Regice raiding, so any change of pace is probably welcome.
So far, we haven’t seen any confirmation of this Battle Raid boss rotation on the official Pokemon GO accounts. We’ll continue monitoring and post more details once the change has been confirmed or debunked.
