It is interesting that transferred pokemon go into a park area, rather than straight to the Switch account’s collection like a standard trade. Does that mean that these pokemon won’t be added to the Switch account’s Dex until they have been recaptured? This will likely make a lot more sense once more of the game has been shared.

For Pokemon GO players, the mechanics surrounding earning special rewards and gifts are likely the most exciting. There has been a lot of speculation about what the gifts might be, including brand new pokemon, but no concrete details have been released just yet.

Pokemon GO is available now in select regions on Android and iOS devices. Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee will launch on November 16, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
