Pokemon GO: How to Battle a Team Leader 3 Times (2022)

It is first important to establish that the team leaders that are referenced by this task are Blanche, Candela, and Spark. Indeed, while some players may have expected that they would need to battle the Team GO Rocket leaders in Pokemon GO in order to complete this task, that is actually not the case. This is sure to be a relief to fans that do not currently have access to a Rocket Radar, and here is exactly how those players should go about battling the team leaders that they are to be targeting:

Click on the PokeBall at the bottom of the screen and select Battle. Scroll down to the bottom of the Battle menu to find the Training section. Select any of the three leaders and choose a team to initiate the battle.

To note, players need not defeat the team leaders in order to complete this task from the Something Extraordinary Special Research in PoGO. In fact, fans do not even need to complete the battles, as they can exit the training immediately upon initiating it and still receive credit for battling a team leader. For full clarity, players can exit training by clicking the icon with the arrow near the top-left corner of the screen, and this strategy makes it possible to complete the task extremely quickly.

It is also worth mentioning that Pokemon do not actually take damage from battling team leaders in PoGO. As such, players that are interested in seeing these training sessions through to their conclusion need not worry if they are low on Potions or Revives.

With respect to the reward that is granted after team leaders have been battled three times, players can claim 750 Stardust as soon as the job is done. These fans will also be one step closer to reaching the latter stages of the Something Extraordinary Special Research and earning its most-exciting prize: a Keldeo in Pokemon GO.
