In addition to these Pokemon and bonuses, Community Day also brings with it Special movesets for various Pokemon as well as unique Research Tasks that players can complete to earn additional rewards, materials, and items to use. These are the game’s mainline quests that remain in place until a player successfully finishes it, unlike the more limited time event ones. Here’s a complete list of all the Special Research Tasks coming to Pokemon GO during December’s Community Weekend event.
Community Day Quest Step 1
Right off the bat, Pokemon GO players will have the following tasks to complete:
Community Day Quest Step 2
Finishing the first set of quests will unlock the next set. While not particularly difficult, players will want to continue catching as many Community Day pokemon as they can. Here are the second set of quests:
Community Day Quest Step 3
Things start to get a little more difficult with the third set of tasks, adding in more skilled type moves like Pokeball curveball throws.
Community Day Quest Step 4
While there is technically a fourth step to this questline, Niantic basically gives out everything to players without requiring anything in return. For players that have made it to this step, they can simply claim all of the rewards.
Pokemon GO is out now for iOS and Android mobile devices.
