The April 2020 Research Breakthrough Rewards are officially available as of today (April 1), which means it’s almost time for players to start cashing in those stamps for another opportunity to encounter the special alternate version of Exeggutor. Although Research Breakthroughs are usually popular, it seems like this batch will probably be a little less likely to motivate trainers to keep up those streaks and complete Field Research on a daily basis (it probably won’t distract players from collecting the most powerful Unova region Pokemon). To earn the special research breakthrough encounters, players just need to earn 7 stamps, by completing regular field research tasks that are collected from Pokestops.
