GO Fest 2022 hype will likely dominate the first week of June, but it won’t be long before the big weekend is over and there are some other surprise events arriving to keep players busy for the rest of the month. Trainers can start looking ahead to find out what bonuses, spawns, Battle Raids, and events are on the way to Pokemon GO throughout June. As always, the month will feature a Community Day along with Raid Hours, Spotlight Hours, and some special standalone events including a TCG tie-in and the return of another fan-favorite annual event.

With a new season rolling out, many players will likely be concentrating on checking out all of the new spawns, tasks, and challenges available. The Season of Alola was a pretty popular period in the game, so it will be interesting to see if the first month of the Season of GO can continue the trend and keep the playerbase active and busy during the warmer summer months as a return to in-person play continues around the world.

Starting with the Season of GO and continuing beyond, we are reducing the level at which Trainers can begin earning Candy XL. Now, all Trainers level 31 and above will be able to earn Candy XL!

Adventure Week returns! Get ready to explore the wide world of fossils and Rock-type Pokémon during this fan-favorite event running from Tuesday, June 7, 2022 to Sunday, June, 12 2022.
Pokémon TCG Crossover Event
Universes are colliding! Fans of the Pokémon TCG will want to see what we have in store for this exciting crossover collaboration, taking place from Thursday, June 16, 2022, to Thursday, June 30, 2022.
Spotlight Hours
In the month of June, Pokemon Spotlight Hour will take place every Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time, and each event will spotlight a different Pokemon and a special bonus!
June 7: Nosepass | 2× Candy for catching Pokémon
June 14: Mantine | 2× Candy for transferring Pokémon
June 21: Spinarak | 2× XP for evolving Pokémon
June 28: ???
Raid Hours
Every Wednesday in June, a Raid Hour event will occur from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time. The following Pokémon will be featured.
June 1: Kyogre
June 8 : Groudon
June 15: Groudon
June 22: Mewtwo*
June 29: Mewtwo**
