The full Pokemon GO February events calendar is officially live and players can find out what kind of special activities and holiday events are on the way for the coming month. Players already knew that GO: Tour Johto was on the way and might have been able to predict another Valentine’s Day event, but there are a handful of other exciting activities coming as well.

The Season of Heritage is coming to a close at the end of February and players only have a few weeks left to enjoy the seasonal spawns, bonuses, and remaining events. The Lunar New Year event should help provide some exciting action when it arrives and many players still working on completing their pokedex will want to keep an eye out for the Johto Leadup event that fans are learning about for the first time…
Pokemon GO Tour: Johto
On Saturday, February 26, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time, Pokémon GO Tour: Johto will be live! In addition to the free experience, Trainers can purchase a ticket for the exclusive ticketed experience.
Celebrate Pokemon Gold and Pokémon Silver in a whole new way! In the ticketed version of Pokémon GO Tour: Johto, Trainers will choose between the Gold Version and Silver Version event experiences, each with version-exclusive Pokémon! Complete event-exclusive Special Research, and test your Pokemon-collection skills to receive an encounter with Celebi that knows a special attack. Trading with a friend who chose the other version will be important, just like it was in Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver!
Trainers who purchase a ticket prior to February 10, 2022, will also receive access to the Season of Heritage’s Timed Research for February! *
February 2022 Community Day
Join us for Community Day on Saturday, February 12, 2022! During the event, Hoppip, the Cottonweed Pokémon, will be appearing more frequently in the wild.
Continue the Season of Heritage
A new Season began on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time! Embark on a journey inspired by the past as we run-up to Pokémon GO Tour: Johto. The Season of Heritage ends on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
Spotlight Hours
In the month of February, Pokémon Spotlight Hour will take place every Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time, and each will spotlight a different Pokémon and a special bonus!
February 1: Litleo | 2× XP for evolving Pokémon
February 8: Spritzee | 2× Catch Stardust
February 15: Koffing | 2× Catch XP
February 22: Voltorb | 2× Catch Candy
Lunar New Year
Ring in the Lunar New Year from Tuesday, February 1, 2022, to Monday, February 7, 2022!
Valentine’s Day
On Thursday, February 10, 2022, to Monday, February 14, 2022, Trainers can celebrate Valentine’s Day with in-game events and activities. An Evolutionary line of Fairy-type Pokemon will even make its Pokémon GO debut!
GO Tour Johto Leadup Event
From Friday, February 18, 2022, to Friday, February 25, 2022, get ready for Pokemon GO Tour: Johto with a Poké Ball–focused event!
Once again, it sounds like players are in for a pretty busy couple of weeks when the new month arrives. Trainers should check back closer to each event’s start time for a full list of tasks and rewards to help determine where the most value can be found in February. Be sure to keep an eye on the today view in the app and wrap up any final December items over the next few days before the new year officially arrives.
