A Redditor going by the name lethdat showed off a set of custom key caps that they made showcasing a number of Pokemon. Each key cap is clear and features a Pokemon, with the caps coming in different sizes. Some Pokemon are even shown off in their Shiny variations, adding a bit of variety to the key caps. Pokemon from across all generations are featured in the small clip that lethdat posted, showing love to every stage of the series.
Some of the Pokemon shown in the clip that lethdat posted include Vaporeon, Drifloon, and Alolan Vulpix. Some caps also feature characters from other franchises such as Godzilla and Totoro from My Neighbor Totoro. There is a good amount of variety, with there being a cap for everyone.
The key caps have received an incredible amount of praise, but the Appa, Vaporeon and Godzilla caps seem to be the most popular. Some people also shared Pokemon that they would love to see, with Gengar and Psyduck being among those mentioned. Many have asked if they could buy the key caps somewhere, with one commenter kidding that they would steal them all. However, lethdat did not mention if they will be selling the key caps or if they are a personal project.
When it comes to creating amazing custom art celebrating the Pokemon series, lethdat is not alone. One Redditor named soulmastadef showed off a pendant that they made in the shape of a PokeBall. In the clip showing off the pendant, soulmastadef spins the pendant around to reveal a clear back that allows people to view inside. That is when it can be seen that the artist placed a small Gengar inside the PokeBall. The Gengar warps and distorts as the PokeBall is moved, creating an ethereal feeling that fits the Pokemon. Artists such as lethdat and soulmastadef are good examples of a community that absolutely loves Pokemon and wishes to celebrate the series.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will release later this year for Nintendo Switch.
