The unique Pokemon design, especially from the earlier generations, often inspires players to create their own Pokemon or give some adjustments to the existing ones. A post on the Pokemon subreddit shows a fan changing the appearance of a popular first generation Pokemon.

Reddit user Pinkfluke has revealed an interesting image featuring the popular Pokemon Machamp without his extra pair of arms. He is a humanoid Pokemon that has four arms, two on each side of its body. One pair is placed in a normal position while the extra pair is located on the top of his shoulders. Pinkfluke managed to remove his additional arms which resulted in a unique design that caught a lot of attention in the community as it gathered over 600 upvotes. The Redditor is known in the community for making similar artworks in which they remove a part of the Pokemon’s body.

Even though their previous attempt of removing Tentacruel’s tentacles left the Pokemon looking unnatural, multiple replies in the comment section claim that this version of Machamp looks quite normal. A lot of fans states that they didn’t even realize that Machamp is missing a pair of his arms until they’ve read the title. However, others claim that they’ve actually thought the picture featured Machoke.

Machamp is a Fighting-type Pokemon Introduced way back in franchise’s first generation. Being a Fighting-type Pokemon means that it’s weak against the three following types: Psychic, Flying, and Fairy. It evolves from Machoke, and it’s the final form of the popular Pokemon Machop. According to the official lore, Machamp is said to know every martial arts in the world and tt can punch extremely fast, throwing hundreds of punches in a second.

Fighting-type Pokemon can hit five others with super-effective damage, which is the most of any type. This type has the highest physical Attack on average, and it is the only type that deals super-effective damage against Normals. Most Pokemon of this type can usually learn Rock-type skills, as well as a couple of Poison-type moves in order to deal with Fairy types. One of the type’s greatest strengths is the fact that it can pair well with almost every Pokemon type offensively.
