One of the new Pokemon is Tinkaton. The pocket monster is a Fairy/Steel-Type that is 100% female and has the unique attack Gigaton Hammer. Despite the hammer it carries being over 200 pounds, the creature can swing it with relative ease. A Pokemon fan decided to draw the pocket monster, with the result being quite cute.

A Redditor known as Badwolf_Deskaro shared a piece that they drew featuring Tinkaton and her hammer. The artwork shows a huge smile on the Pokemon, with sparkles surrounding her. The hammer that the pocket monster carries has been simplified when compared to what is seen in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, as what was drawn by the artist looks more like a toy. However, it does fit the artwork and the general charm it possesses. While the piece is simple, it does a good job of capturing what makes the Pokemon stand out.
Gamers on Reddit are enjoying Badwolf_Deskaro’s artwork, with some stating that they love how the artist captured the Pokemon. It was brought up that some are surprised at how good Tinkaton actually is, with a player mentioning that she has been a staple on their team since they caught her. Another user is scared of the Pokemon as they used Corviknight in their Pokemon Sword and Shield team, referring to Tinkaton’s Pokedex entry stating that she likes to knock rocks into the sky while aiming at the Flying/Steel-Type. The artwork is beautiful and helps show love for the newer Pokemon in the series.
The Tinkaton artwork is not the only piece that Badwolf_Deskaro has done based on Pokemon. The artist has posted other works on Reddit, which include Pokemon Scarlet and Violet starter Quaxly enjoying a cup of tea, as well as a Liiligant covered in a string of Christmas lights. All of their pieces are incredibly cute, capturing the pocket monsters at adorable moments. Badwolf_Deskaro’s art does a good job of picking up a lighter side of Pokemon, creating work that is enjoyable and uplifting for fans of the franchise. Hopefully they will continue to produce artwork that has a cute flair to it and explore the various entries in the series, as it will give them plenty of muses to work with.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available now for the Nintendo Switch.
