As fans wait for the forthcoming titles, many of them resort to more creative means like making art about Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Meanwhile, a select few individuals use their imagination for educational purposes, like creating charts and diagrams. Reddit user alex_fantastico is one such person who has come up with a hypothetical ancestral lineage of many notable Fox Pokemon. The user shared an image on the social media platform showing a detailed flowchart of Fox pocket monsters. The chart shows three main individuals, Unespark, Sparkitsu, and Arkitsune, as the common ancestors of others. The latter two are depicted as evolved versions of the former, with Arkitsune as the final form of Unespark.
It should be noted that this chart is purely fictional and based on alex_fantastico’s imagination. The Redditor has creatively mapped out an evolutionary relation between unrelated Pokemon, like Vulpix and Fennekin, among many others. Unsurprisingly, the Reddit community was awe-struck by alex_fantastico’s vision and creativity in coming up with eye-catching designs and names of imaginary Pokemon. The commenters quickly identified a Pokemon named Reddit, a hypothetical ancestor of Nickit. In addition, the post received more than 5000 upvotes with a 95 % upvote ratio.
Some users also noticed that alex_fantastico’s chart does not mention Eevee, one of the most iconic Fox Pokemon. Naturally, all the evolutions of Eevee like Flareon, Vaporeon, Umbreon, etc were also missing. The original poster clarified they’ll be creating a separate flowchart for Eevee and its other forms as it would take up significantly more space and make everything clattered.
This chart is not the first time alex_fantastico has created a fictional ancestry diagram. The user has designed similar charts for many types, like Penguin and Dog Pokemon ancestry flowchart, and will make a separate Eevee chart on similar patterns.
