Many players expected that new evolutions of previous generation Pokemon would be able to evolve as soon as the first wave arrive. The Pokemon GO community has quickly confirmed that this is definitely not the case, at least so far. At this point, there are no new evolutions available for previous gen Pokemon and Stardust and Candy costs have not been adjusted as predicted. The question now is whether these changes will arrive gradually over a series of Gen 4 waves or if the new evolutions will all be unlocked at once in a single wave....
That doesn’t mean Arlo is an easy fight. He’s still a powerful opponent to go against, and for new or unprepared Pokemon GO trainers, it’ll be tough to win. Thankfully, not much has changed in terms of Sierra’s line-up. Pokemon GO trainers can expect Sierra to stick to the same Pokemon as last month. Respectively, Sierra starts off with Sneasel as her first-round pick. Round 2 choices are between Ampharos, Granbull, or Gliscor, and Round 3 choices are between Houndoom, Kingdra, or Drapion. Latias’ raid boss CP can go all the way up to 48,080, with its capture CP hitting 2507 CP at level 25 and 100% IV in windy weather. Level 20 with 100% IV without a weather boost can drop as low as 1921. This means AT LEAST 3 well-rounded Pokemon GO players with the right counters will be needed, but completing this raid with 7 or more is ideal....
Starting on Monday, March 2, Pokemon GO trainers will have a chance to battle Tornadus in level five Battle Raids once again in the mobile game. The genie-like Pokemon is a powerful Flying-type with two forms. Each form has its own weaknesses, but the main counters are actually going to be the same for either battle. Porygon was initially a standalone Pokemon during generation 2, but generation 4 Pokemon games added two new evolutions for the already strange Pokemon. Pokemon GO added these evolutions to the game in 2020, but many players still haven’t acquired them because of all this confusion. Of course, players will want to first save up their candy, as each evolution requires 100 candy, which is no surprise. Players will need it to evolve every new evolution related to the Sinnoh Region (one exception could be Glaceon and Leafeon due to Eevee’s random nature). To get a Sinnoh Stone, players will need to complete field research and unlock a Research Breakthrough....
Unlike its pre-evolved forms, Teddiursa and Ursaring, Ursaluna is a Ground/Normal-type Pokemon. Evolving Ursaring into Ursaluna required players to give it the evolutionary item, Peat Block, on the night of a full moon. However, it seems Pokemon GO has left out the evolutionary item this time around. Starting September 13 at 1:00pm PT, the legendary birds Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos will be returning to Pokemon GO in legendary raids. The birds will remain in legendary raids until September 20 at 1:00pm PT, at which point they will be replaced by the psychic-type legendary Pokemon Mewtwo. The addition of Mewtwo later in the month seems like it will be a bit more exciting for players than the return of Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos....
Now, it seems another staple of Pokemon’s past is ready to join the roster of characters cropping up in Journeys, with the franchise’s Twitter account announcing that Dawn is scheduled to return to the show. Her appearance will come through two Summer-focused episodes slated to air on July 23 and July 30 in Japan, seeing Ash, Goh, and Chloe venture to the Sinnoh region.
