With Pokemon Legends: Arceus launching this month, the gaming community seems to be very excited to create content. This may be due to Arceus providing unique gameplay and features that are completely different from the series’ norm. This likely also stirred up curiosity about how the development team’s thought process when producing new games in the Pokemon franchise. So it is not surprising for some content creators to do deep dives and come out with surprising new facts that will likely intrigue the fanbase....

Collected for Pokemon Day by Google, the official Pokemon YouTube channel has revealed who has been crowned the top 10 Pokemon of the year through a vote that included 6.6 million fans. The picks are interesting, as the series’ mascot and general face of the franchise, Pikachu, is nowhere to be seen. Currently, Eevee has eight different Pokemon it can evolve into. These are Espeon, Flareon, Glaceon, Jolteon, Leafeon, Sylveon, Umbreon, and Vaporeon. Each Eeveelution is a single type, with no double-types. Many of these evolutions are achieved if Eevee evolves while holding a particular stone, but a few of them also require increasing Friendship levels in a particular Pokemon game. There are still nine types not represented by Eeveelutions, one of which is Dragon....

In the original Pokemon games, Brock only had two Pokemon for the player to battle. They were Geodude and Onyx which made the battle difficult for anyone who chose Charmander as their starter or played Pokemon Yellow. Wild Pokemon with counters to Brock’s Rock-types were hard to come by at that point in the game. In the animated series, Brock would ultimately leave Pewter City and join Ash on his journey, though the character did leave and return to Ash’s side several times in the Pokemon series....

Exeggutor is a dual Grass/Psychic-type from the very first generation, resembling a palm tree with three coconut-like heads. Evolving from Exeggcute, one of the weirdest Pokemon from Generation 1, Exeggutor is arguably one of the weirdest evolutions in all of Pokemon as well, going from a half dozen eggs to a palm tree. According to a post on Pokemon GO’s official website, on September 16, 2017, Safari Zone activities for the game will be taking place at Unibail-Rodamco Shopping Centres located at CentrO in Oberhausen, Germany, Les Quatre Temps in Paris, France, and La Maquinista in Barcelona, Spain. The new dates for the events in Copenhagen, Denmark, and Prague, Czech Republic, will take place on October 7, 2017 at Fisketorvet and Centrum Černý Most, respectively, while on October 14, 2017, events will take place at the Mall of Scandinavia in Stockholm, Sweden, and Stadshart Amstelveen in Amstelveen, The Netherlands....

Since September 2021, Giovanni has been missing from Pokemon GO. This has been confirmed by Niantic to not be a glitch, with a currently unknown plot being related to his disappearence. Even players with a Super Rocket Radar won’t be able to encounter him. One of the highlights of the Greedy Gluttons event in Pokemon GO is the debut of the Junkivore Pokemon Guzzlord. Resembling a giant mouth with two pincer-mouths for arms, Guzzlord is a Dark/Dragon Ultra Beast from the Alola region. From November 8 to 23, Guzzlord will be available for players to battle and catch as a 5-Star Raid Pokemon.
