The Pokemon Red and Blue New 3DS won’t be released until February 27th to celebrate the anniversary of the series. However, Gamestop has opened pre-orders today, selling the units for 199.99. In Pokemon’s Sinnoh region players have the option between Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup which evolve into Torterra, Infernape, and Empoleon, respectively. As of this moment, there is no official version of these Pokemon in LEGO form or similar collaboration. LEGO, as a medium for recreations such as these, can ask a lot from its user. The newest Pokemon Scarlet and Violet was announced on February 27th, 2022 along with it the three starter Pokemon for the region in which the game will be set. Fuecoco is the fire-type starter Pokemon that was announced and nothing has been revealed on the evolutions for any of the starters as yet. Over on Reddit, a Pokemon fan shared a recreation of Pallet Town that they constructed in Far Cry 5. Pallet Town is, of course, the home of Ash Ketchum from the mainline series as well as the starting point for Pokemon Red and Blue. The Far Cry 5 recreation adopts the looks found in the original Game Boy game, adopting the layout of the town and the style of its buildings....

With so many pocket monsters featured throughout the generations of Pokemon games, there is no shortage of creature designs for talented artists to try and blend together. However, despite the myriad Pokemon fusion art on Reddit, this new design combining Charizard and Chandelure managed to stand out. Created by a Reddit user known as HoundoomKaboom, the artist utilized pixel art for the piece, and they were able to pull together some of the best parts of the designs of both Pokemon....

The Pokemon Tauros and Spiritomb have very little in common. Tauros is a Normal-Type that debuted in Generation 1 of the Pokemon series, while Spiritomb is a Ghost/Dark-Type that was released in Generation 4. GO Fest 2022 hype will likely dominate the first week of June, but it won’t be long before the big weekend is over and there are some other surprise events arriving to keep players busy for the rest of the month. Trainers can start looking ahead to find out what bonuses, spawns, Battle Raids, and events are on the way to Pokemon GO throughout June. As always, the month will feature a Community Day along with Raid Hours, Spotlight Hours, and some special standalone events including a TCG tie-in and the return of another fan-favorite annual event....

The new pokemon in the Legendary spot, Tapu Lele, is likely going to be the most popular, but there are some other interesting Raid Bosses this week, as well. A returning Mega boss is offering Pokemon GO trainers the chance to battle one the ultimate form of Charizard once again and stock up some more of the powerful Mega Candy if they succeed. Doing so will definitely require teaming up with some friends and preparing a powerful counter roster....

Since the Special Research quest objectives seemed to revolve around Pokemon with unique abilities or evolution rules, it’s a safe bet that future quests will be similar. With that in mind, there are three Pokemon currently available in Pokemon GO that seem to fit the bill, and all of them are from the third generation. The two most obvious choices are Wailmer and Swablu. Like Magikarp, both Wailmer and Swablu require a whopping 400 candy to evolve to their next forms....
