Originally, Pokemon Diamond and Pearl was released in 2006 on the Nintendo DS. With the cast of game becoming eventually even more well known due to their appearence in the Pokemon television series, devoted fans of the title have taken to fan content creation during the wait for the November release. Legendary Pokemon have a huge appeal because of the power fantasy they embody, as they are often mythical creatures with immense powers that also have in-game effects through unique abilities and exclusive moves. For many players, choosing the game version they’ll be playing revolves around the Legendary monsters on the cover, as they are guaranteed encounters in that specific game. However, the fact that every mainline Pokemon game allows players to catch multiple Legendaries is not necessarily a good thing....

A new shiny family arrives every month on Community Day, but the other in-game events have also been adding other shiny sprites to the world. So many have been released this summer alone that it’s a little hard to keep track of which ones are available in Pokemon GO and how players can secure them. Luckily, the Pokemon GO community is great at compiling this type of information. The latest of these additions is the paid event, Colossal Discovery Special Research. Though the name doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, the event will allow players who’ve purchased a $7.99 ticket to take part in a unique quest line starting on November 2nd. It will also give players early-access to Regigigas, an EX Raid Boss with 55480 CP, an attack of 287, defense of 210 and 15000 HP....

The new search function offers Pokemon GO players a variety of ways to search through their Pokemon collections. For example players can search by name as typing in a nickname (e.g MyTyranitar) will come up with a Pokemon called MyTyranitar and typing in Tyranitar will show all Pokemon that are Tyranitar. Players can also search by Pokemon type, searching for one type (e.g water) or multiples types (water, fire, grass) at a time....

Prior to May 1, this was an extensive list composed of Ho-Oh, Lugia, Entei, Suicune, Raikou, Regice, Regirock, and Registeel. For the coming months, however, the list has been chopped down considerably, leaving Ho-Oh, Lugia, and newcomers Latias and Latios as the Pokemon GO Field Research Breakthrough rewards for May and June. This rotation will take place at 1 PM PDT on May 1 and run through 1 PM PDT on July 1, with this drastic shift seeming like a double-edged sword....

Following in the footsteps of Raikou and Entei, Suicune is the final legendary beast Pokemon that needed to make its Field Research breakthrough debut in Pokemon GO. Like with past Field Research breakthrough rewards, Pokemon GO players will need to earn seven stamps by completing seven Field Research objectives on different days to unlock the chance to catch Suicune. Anyone interested in catching Suicune through Field Research will be able to do so beginning October 1 at 1pm PT....

While playing through Pokemon Platinum, Reddit user N_E_ON reached Snowpoint City. Upon arriving, they ran into a Pokemon trainer named Mindy, who was offering to trade a Haunter in exchange for a Medicham. For the uninitiated, trading a Haunter in the main series Pokemon games makes it evolve into Gengar, which is one of N_E_ON’s favorite Pokemon. N_E_ON has never been able to use Gengar in the Pokemon games because they didn’t have anyone to trade with, and so they were excited to trade with Mindy to finally add one to their team....

Known by the user handle of u/Troytheartboy, the Pokemon fan first made headlines a few weeks ago for their incredibly creative series of drawings showcasing a variety of Pokemon drawn in the style of Lilo and Stitch. Originally introduced a generation earlier in Pokemon Sword and Shield, Appletun is a Grass and Dragon dual-type Pokemon known for its high HP and decent special attack statistics despite being slow. Its counterpart Flapple was considered frail but faster and had decent physical attack statistics. Both Appletun and Flapple had a Gigantamax form in the Galar region that looked nearly identical despite their standard appearances being vastly different. Though it has some glaring weaknesses, including a quadruple-weakness to Ice-type attacks, an Appletun with the Thick Fat ability can reduce the damage it takes from Fire-type and Ice-type attacks by half....

Considering how many Pokeballs have appeared in the series up until this point, the fan is going to have quite a bit of work ahead of them if they’re looking to address every single one of them.
